Seven Springs Mountain Resort

Champion, Pennsylvania.

The day’s agenda begins with registration in the pro shop and a full-service breakfast in the club house. Everyone will then move to the main grille room for a keynote presentation by the pro football alumnus of the day, former Pittsburgh Steeler Chris Hoke.

Chris Hoke is a former NFL defensive lineman who spent his entire 11-year professional career with the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2000-2011, playing in 114 regular season games. As a starter for the Steelers, his record was 17-1 and he was an important contributor on many of the Pittsburgh Steelers top-ranked defenses. Chris played in 3 Super Bowls and is a Super Bowl XL and XLIII Champion. In Superbowl XL the Steelers defeated the Seattle Seahawks 21-10 and in Superbowl XLIII the Steelers defeated the Arizona Cardinals 27-23. Since retirement, Chris has done sports commentary on both television and radio. His current broadcast career includes co-host and analyst for KDKA-TV’s (CBS) Kickoff Pregame Show, the Extra Point Postgame show and CBS Radio (93.7 The Fan). In September of 2015, Chris served as Executive Producer for The Play with Rocky Bleier, a sold-out event that benefited UPMC Children’s Hospital. His volunteerism also includes working with his church and the Cancer Caring Center.

Following the keynote speech, we will conduct a brief safety meeting prior to departing to your golf cart and first shooting station. The event will field 25 groups, each comprised of four participants who will travel along a 17-station course and shoot 100 clay targets. Nonalcoholic drinks and snacks will be provided for all the participants on the course.

As soon as each team completes the course they will turn in their score cards and travel back to the club house for lunch in the main grille room. Scores will be calculated and the team photos with the days pro football alumnus will be completed during the lunch break. Every member of a shooting team will also receive a commentative full size football signed to them by the days pro football alumnus.

Prior to the start of the awards presentation, Todd Kalis, President, Pro Football Alumni will offer opening remarks and then introduce Eleni Lucido, VP & GM, United States & Canada, MSA – The Safety Company to address the group. The Executive Director of The Woodlands Foundation will follow with a brief overview of the organizations mission and goals.

Trophies will then be awarded to the men’s and women’s individual high score shooters as well as the highest scoring first, second and third place teams. Following the awards presentation, prizes will be drawn that will include everything from gift certificates for golf, restaurants and retail stores as well as sports memorabilia, shotguns, hunting equipment and outdoor recreational items.
